Seminar Series
The NCRR supports a seminar series, sponsored jointly with the Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science that focuses on the expanding field of rehabilitation, with an emphasis on activity-based restoration of function and environmental enrichment-mediated plasticity. The seminars educate our faculty and students about these areas of research and foster collaborations at both the basic science and clinical levels. It is the goal of the NCRR to enable investigators to define the parameters that would be predictive of success in human clinical trials, thus speeding the translation of basic science discoveries to clinical applications.
